Lady Cavs can call themselves veterans
By Habeab Kurdi
There were no seniors to turn to last season, and the Lake Travis softball team grew up in spurts during 2011. For 2012, the core of the team is all back on the diamond, and there are three seniors in the fold and five juniors, as well as a slew of experience on the 11-man roster. "The last couple of seasons we've been moving in the right direction" Lake Travis coach Christie Knox said. "There was definitely some gaps that needed to be filled and we feel really confident. Obviously the core of the team is a year older, with a year more experience. It not only helps your ability to play, but your team chemistry." Read article
